XFCE: Extending display using xrandr

Very simple, at the terminal, do:

xrandr

Get the list of displays connected to the computer, get main_monitor_identifier and extended_monitor_identifier

xrandr --output extended_monitor_identifier --auto --right-of (OR --left-of) main_monitor_identifier

Tadaah!

(I happen to be a bit of an XFCE evangelist after what GNOME has done to itself.)
